Product Description
PLEASE don’t ask us to ship plants to any extremely cold location. The plant will not survive. Extreme cold = daytime highs below freezing.
Vuylstekeara Blarney Stone is an intergeneric hybrid consisting of Cochlioda, Miltonia and Odontoglossum.
The breeding is Vuylstekeara Lutetia x Odontioda Anne Boleyn.
But don’t let all that orchid-speak put you off. The result is a plant that puts out stunning pink and white flowers like the one pictured. The flowers are two inches wide or more, and last for 4 to 5 weeks. The formal name is Vuylstekeara Blarney Stone ‘Geyserland.’
These are easy to grow, too. Provide bright indirect light and a temperature range of 60 to 85 degrees. Allow to get almost dry, but not quite, between waterings, like a phal. Fertilize twice a month or so.
This one is freshly repotted in sphagnum moss and is likely to flower within one to two years, which is our definition of Near Blooming Size. It is freshly repotted in sphagnum moss in a 4 inch pot. It has one growth and the longest leaf is about 8 or 9 inches.
We have a bunch of these and we’ll pick out a nice one for you. You can buy with confidence.
Orchids from The Orchid Gallery are guaranteed. Period.
